This project is a result of my love to Brazilian Jazz. Some of the songs are translations and some are a result of a collaborative work with my friend Ana Gazzola. The lyrics are mostly about love except one song (Shir Le Noa Ben Artzi) which was written as a response to Yitzhak Rabins’ grand daughters’ eulogy. The song has an optimistic message (hence the up rhythm). On the translations I tried to keep the feeling and the sound of the Portuguese lyrics yet remain true to the meaning. You can enjoy the beautiful solos of Pablo Medina and the soothing sounds of the vocals. The CD has 3 bonus tracks of Hebrew versions at the end. Enjoy!
